The Old Coach House is in Ulrome, which is a small village between Bridlington and Hornsea. It used to be part of the Vicarage. It's for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The cottage looks out over our garden and the duck pond. There's a proper mix of wild ducks that live there. You can sit on the patio and watch them. They're quite friendly if you have bread.
The beach at Ulrome is about a ten-minute walk. You get to it down some steps. It's a proper sandy beach, not just stones. It's usually quiet.
If you drive, Hornsea is about ten minutes away. They've got the Mere, which is a big lake for birdwatching, and the outlet village for shopping. Bridlington is the other way, also about ten minutes. It's a traditional seaside town with a harbour and a promenade. The Old Town part has nice streets and the Priory.
Beverley is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes by car. It's a nice market town with the Minster. Good for a wander and a coffee.
For a bigger day out, York is under an hour's drive. You can park at the designer outlet and get the bus in.
The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. The parking is right outside the door. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's a patio with a table and chairs and a BBQ.
