Church Court Cottage is in Beeford. It's a terraced cottage, the kind built for farm workers. You share the main courtyard but your own bit at the back is enclosed so it's private.
It's old, from the 1800s, but we've kept it warm and dry. Sleeps three, maybe four if one is quite small. There's a kingsize in the main room, and the second room has bunk beds and a little cabin bed. Good for a family.
The wood burner works well for winter. The stairs are steep, because it's an old cottage. We've put a stairgate at the top.
Everything you need is in the village, which is handy. The shop is a two-minute walk. There's a pub down the lane, and a Chinese restaurant practically next door. The fish and chip shop is good. For ice cream, Mr Moos on the farm just outside the village is the place to go.
The coast is about three miles. You can get to Hornsea, Bridlington or Filey in under half an hour. Bridlington has the Spa if you want a show, and Filey Brigg is good for a walk. For birdwatching, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is about twenty minutes away.
Inland, the Yorkshire Wolds are right there for walking. Beverley is a nice market town, about twenty minutes by car. If you want a big day out, Hull has The Deep aquarium, and York is under an hour's drive.
What's here: WiFi, TV, washing machine, a proper fireplace, BBQ in the courtyard. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs, but please keep them off the furniture.
