Russet
Russet is a one-bedroom bungalow for two. It's on the ground floor. Everything's on one level, which makes it simple.
It's set in a big old orchard with sheep in it. There's another cottage, Greengage, nearby but it's far enough apart to be private. You get your own patio area. The view is just fields and trees. It's very quiet.
The place has a wood burner in the main room. There's a kitchen area, bathroom, and the bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
Skipsea beach is less than a mile away. It's sandy. The village has a couple of pubs, a restaurant, and a shop. For a swim if the weather's bad, there's a leisure park with an indoor pool about two miles off.
If you want to explore, Bempton Cliffs are up the coast. You can see puffins and seals. It's run by the RSPB. Further along you've got Bridlington and Scarborough. The North York Moors are about an hour's drive.
For stately homes, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are close by.
Facilities: there's parking right outside. It has WiFi, a TV, washing machine, and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
