West End Farmhouse

West End Farmhouse is in Ulrome. It's a detached house, so you're not sharing any walls. The garden is very big and fully enclosed, with a patio and a barbecue area. There's a small playhouse for kids. It's got a 4 Star rating.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One has a walk-in shower. The entrance and the ground floor are wheelchair accessible, and there's a seat in the bath.

The stairs have a gate at the bottom. There's a boot room just inside the door for bikes and muddy stuff. It's handy.

You're about half a mile from the beach. It's a 15-minute walk down the lanes. The coast here is rugged. The Cleveland Way runs along parts of it if you want a long walk.

There's a fishing pond just along the lane. You can fish there for free if you're into that.

The local shop and a pub are about a mile and a half away. Bridlington is eight miles down the coast. It's a traditional seaside town with a sandy beach, a harbour, and the Spa theatre. You can get a land train from there to Sewerby Hall.

Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve is very close. You can see puffins and gannets there. It's run by the RSPB.

Beverley is a 30-minute drive. It's a nice market town with a racecourse. York is just over an hour away if you want a city day out.

Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a TV, WiFi, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to three dogs. There's parking on site.

For more information on the area, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and North York Moors National Park websites are useful, though we're on the coast between them.
