West End Farmhouse
West End Farmhouse is in Ulrome, near the Yorkshire coast. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. You get the whole place.
It sleeps six, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a big garden. It's enclosed, so good if you have kids or dogs. There's a little playhouse out there. The patio area has space for a barbecue.
There's a boot room by the back door for coats and boots. Good for bikes too. There's a stairgate fitted at the bottom of the stairs. The stairs themselves are normal house stairs, not too steep.
You can walk to the beach from here in about fifteen minutes. It's a lane walk through the village.
If you like fishing, there's a pond just along the lane. You can use it free of charge.
The village is quiet. There's a shop and a pub about a mile and a half away. Bridlington is eight miles down the coast. That's the proper seaside. Working harbour, sandy beach, rock pools, the lot. You can get a land train from there to Sewerby Hall.
For a day out, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is close by. You can see the puffins and gannets. The Cleveland Way coastal path is there for walks.
Beverley is about half an hour's drive. Nice market town, has a racecourse. York is just over an hour if you want a city trip.
For facilities: it's got a woodburner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site, and an electric vehicle charger. We allow up to three dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
