School Cottage
School Cottage is in Gembling, which is a quiet spot out in the fields between a few villages. It used to be part of the old village school. You get the whole garden to yourselves.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. One of the bedrooms and a shower room are on the ground floor. The stairs are typical for a cottage, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.
The main room is a good size. There's a wood burner and French doors out to the garden. The kitchen has what you need: induction hob, oven, dishwasher. There's a washing machine in a little utility room too.
The garden is mostly lawn with a patio area. It looks out over the fields. You get a good view.
You're about fifteen minutes drive from the coast at Skipsea. It's a proper beach, not too built up. The seaside towns of Bridlington and Hornsea are within half an hour if you want more going on. Driffield is the nearest market town, about twenty minutes away for shops.
For walking, the Yorkshire Wolds are right there. The footpaths start pretty much from the door. If you want a day out, Burton Agnes Hall is well worth a visit, and Sledmere House is about half an hour's drive.
Facilities wise: there's parking, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
