Meadow View

Meadow View is in Brigham. It's a converted farm building from the 1700s. It's part of a small group of cottages around a shared yard. You get your own patio and barbecue area, and there's about an acre of shared garden to use.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The whole place is on one level, which is good for accessibility or if you don't fancy stairs. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner for cooler days.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.

It's on a small farm. Kids can help feed the animals some mornings. There's a shared games room with a full-size snooker table and table tennis. Outside, there's a sandpit and some toys for younger children.

The Driffield Canal is right next to the property. There's a small jetty if you bring a canoe. It's very quiet here. The nearest shop is about two and a half miles away in Driffield. There are a few pubs and places to eat within three miles.

Driffield itself is a market town, about four miles away. For a bigger day out, York is about half an hour's drive. The coast at Bridlington or Filey is about twenty-five minutes. The Yorkshire Wolds are right on the doorstep for walking.
