Woodlands is out near Rotsea. It's about four miles from the village of Brandesburton, so you'll need a car.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well looked after. It’s a converted barn, made from the original stone.
It has its own enclosed garden, which looks directly onto the paddocks. You see a lot of wildlife. Deer and foxes cross the fields regularly.
As part of the complex, you get free use of an indoor heated swimming pool. There's also a communal games room and a children's play area on site.
Fishing and boat trips on the canal are very close. The owner’s land has a river, a lake, and a pond. For other activities, there’s an 18-hole golf course, horse riding, and an RSPB sanctuary all nearby.
For the coast, Bridlington, Scarborough, and Filey are a short drive away. You’ve also got the Yorkshire Wolds right on the doorstep for walking. It's quiet countryside.
If you want a day trip, York is within an hour. Flamborough Head and Robin Hood's Bay are also well worth the drive for the coastline.
Facilities: parking on site, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The stairs inside are fine. You can bring up to three dogs.
