Dip Tub Den
Dip Tub Den is on our farm in Skerne, near Driffield. It's one of three barns we've converted. The main thing is it's all on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have super king beds, but one of them can be made into two singles if you need it. You get two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath and a separate shower. There's a wood burner in the main room. The sofas are comfortable. The WiFi works.
The kitchen has what you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, that sort of thing. You'll see some bits and pieces around the place, like lamp bases, that I've made from old farm gear. Outside, there's a private, enclosed garden with a patio and a hot tub.
It's a working farm. We've got the usual animals: cows, sheep, chickens, horses. You're welcome to walk around the farm tracks, there's about 450 acres. The village is quiet. There's a pub in the next village, about a ten minute drive.
For the coast, Bridlington is about 25 minutes by car. Filey and Hornsea are a similar distance. The Yorkshire Wolds are right here for walking or cycling. If you want a proper day out, York is roughly an hour's drive.
Things to know: We allow up to two dogs. The bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can book it with the other two barns if you've got a bigger group.
