Wold House Cottage is in Nafferton, just off the A166 as you head towards Bridlington. It's a detached brick house, set back from the road. You can see the Wolds from the back windows, it's a good view. We’ve got two acres of gardens that are shared with the other cottage on site, but it’s a big space so it never feels crowded.
It sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star property, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. The stairs are fine, just normal stairs. There’s a games room in the outbuilding with a pool table.
You get the hot tub to yourselves, it's on a private patio area. The garden has a BBQ. All the bedlinen and towels are included. There's parking right outside for a few cars.
The local shop and a couple of pubs are about a mile away in the village. They're fine for basics and a pint.
Bridlington is about nine miles east. It’s a classic seaside town with a sandy beach and a harbour. The RSPB place at Bempton Cliffs is a bit further along the coast, if you like watching seabirds.
You can drive up to Scarborough in less than half an hour. The North York Moors National Park is about twenty miles north, so within half an hour for walking. York is around twenty-five miles west, maybe forty minutes depending on traffic. That's a full day out with the Minster and the history.
Facilities: Everything listed is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair, stairgate. There’s also an indoor swimming pool on the shared estate you can use. No pets allowed.
