The Sheep Shed is in Kilham, in the Wolds. It's one of two cottages behind the main house. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need.
You walk straight into the main room. It's open plan. The French doors let in a lot of light and go out to a gravel garden. The garden is enclosed. It looks out over the fields. Good spot for a morning coffee.
The stairs are here too, not steep but they are spiral. Something to be aware of. Both bedrooms are downstairs. They're doubles. Pastel colours, quiet. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.
The kitchen's fine. Electric oven and hob, dishwasher. Enough room to cook. Dining table in there too.
Kilham's a quiet village. There's a pub you can walk to. For shops and things, you'll need to drive. Bridlington is the nearest seaside town, about fifteen minutes by car. It's got beaches and a promenade.
Loads of walking and cycling routes start from here. Burton Agnes Hall is close. Sledmere House and Sewerby Hall are within half an hour. York and Whitby are both less than an hour's drive if you fancy a day out.
Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi. TV. You can bring up to two dogs. The other cottage, The Hen House, can be booked with this one if you've got a bigger group.
