Cattle Crush Cottage

Cattle Crush Cottage is on our farm in Skerne, near Driffield. It's one of three barns we've converted. The village is quiet, it's just fields really.

The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's all on the ground floor, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main room is open plan with the kitchen. There's a wood burner and the sofas are comfortable. The TV works fine.

Two of the bedrooms have super king beds. One of them is a zip and link, so it can be two singles if you need it. The mattresses are good. There's an ensuite shower room off the main bedroom, and a family bathroom with a bath.

French doors go out to the garden. It's enclosed. There's a patio and a hot tub. You're welcome to walk around the farm fields. We've got the usual animals: sheep, cows, horses, chickens. If you see me about, say hello.

The facilities are what you'd expect: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.

Bridlington is about half an hour's drive for the beach. Filey and Hornsea are a similar distance. For walking, the Yorkshire Wolds are right here. The Yorkshire Wolds website has route ideas. For a day out further afield, York is under an hour.
