The Granary
The Granary is in Brigham, which is a small hamlet near Driffield. It's part of a converted farm building from the 1700s. You have your own patio and barbecue, and there are shared grounds of about an acre to use.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place. That means it's well-finished and comfortable, with underfloor heating and a wood burner.
There's a children's farm on site. Kids can collect eggs and help feed the animals. There's also a shared games room with a full-size snooker table and table tennis. Outside, there's a sandpit and some toy tractors for younger children.
The property is right next to the Driffield Canal. There's a small jetty if you bring a canoe. You can fish locally too.
The nearest shop is about two and a half miles away in Driffield. There are a few pubs and restaurants within three miles. Driffield itself is a small market town.
York is about a 40 minute drive. It's good for a day out, with the Minster, the Shambles, and museums like the National Railway Museum. The coast at Bridlington or Filey is roughly half an hour away by car. The Yorkshire Wolds are right here for walking.
For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking on site. Sorry, no pets.
