The Old Chapel
The Old Chapel is in Hempholme, in the East Riding. It's a detached cottage that used to be a chapel school room, built a long time ago. We live next door on the farm.
It's a 3 Star place for two people. One bedroom, one en-suite shower room. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.
It's quiet here. You can start walks straight from the door along the farm tracks. The main one is Tophill Low Nature Reserve, which is just up the road and good for birds. If you want to see more, the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust site has details.
The market town of Beverley is about twenty minutes away by car. It's got the Minster and the racecourse. The coast at Hornsea or Bridlington is about half an hour's drive.
For a day out, Burton Agnes Hall is close. York is under an hour if you fancy the city. The North York Moors are a bit further.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, a washing machine, and parking. The garden is yours to use. We allow up to two dogs.
