The Old Chapel is on our farm in Hempholme. It's a quiet spot. The building used to be the chapel school room. It's from 1818.
It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor. There's an open plan living area. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable but not high-end.
You can walk straight out from the door onto footpaths around the farm fields. We've got sheep and crops. Tophill Low Nature Reserve is very close, just down the lane. If you like birds, it's good there. The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust runs it.
You can drive to the coast in about twenty minutes. Hornsea and Bridlington are that way. Beverley is about twenty minutes the other way. It's a nice market town with the Minster and racecourse.
The place has a patio with furniture. There's parking right outside. It's fully detached so you're on your own. We allow up to two dogs.
There's a TV, a washing machine, and all the bedding and towels are included. The shower is in the en-suite.
The shop and the nearest pub are in Brandesburton, about three miles away.
For more ideas, the Yorkshire Nature Triangle website has details on all the local reserves. The National Trust also looks after some properties nearby, like Burton Agnes Hall.
