The Forge
The Forge is on High Farm Holiday Park, between Hornsea and Beverley. It's a barn conversion, one of five here.
It sleeps four across two bedrooms, both on the ground floor, so it's fine if stairs are a problem. One is a double with a jacuzzi bath in the room. The other is a twin with its own shower room. The ceilings are high with old beams and brickwork showing. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept.
Outside, there's a shared courtyard with a private patio and seating for you. The park itself has a lot going on. There's a fishing lake, a nature walk, and a par 3 golf course. There's also a kids' play area and a field for ball games. There's an on-site coffee shop that's licensed, and a shop for basics.
You can take two dogs. There's an electric vehicle charger. Things like bedding, towels, a cot, and a highchair are included.
For a day out, Hornsea is the nearest seaside town. Beverley is lovely for a wander around the shops and the Minster. The Yorkshire Wolds are good for walking. Hull and York are both under an hour's drive if you fancy a city trip.
