The Forge is on High Farm Holiday Park, between Hornsea and Beverley. It's a ground floor barn conversion, so there are no stairs to worry about. It's one of five here, all converted from the old farm buildings.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have en-suite bathrooms, which is handy. One's a king-size with a jacuzzi bath, the other has twin beds. They've kept a lot of the original brick and beams, so it feels solid and old. The kitchen has what you'd need for normal meals. There's a dishwasher.
Outside, there's a shared courtyard with a private patio area for sitting out. The site itself has a lot going on. There's a fishing lake, a small 9-hole golf course, a nature walk, and a play area for kids. You can get a coffee and cake from the on-site coffee shop. The shop here sells basics.
You're about ten minutes' drive from Hornsea, which is a classic seaside town with a beach. Beverley is in the other direction, maybe fifteen minutes. It's a nice market town with a minster and proper shops. Hull and York are both under an hour away if you fancy a city trip.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking right outside. There's an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot if you need one.
