Dragonfly Cottage is on one end of a terrace in Beverley. You can walk into the town centre in a few minutes. It's an old place, from the 1600s. It used to belong to St Mary's church and was for monks.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. One has a king size bed, the other has two singles. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are fairly typical for an old cottage.
You get an open fire in the living room. The kitchen is a galley style with a wooden feature wall. It leads into a dining area. Out the back is a small, enclosed courtyard. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
There's a pub about 100 yards away. Shops and restaurants are a five minute walk. The train station is close if you want to go to York or Hull. The street parking needs a permit, which we provide for one car.
You're allowed to bring up to two dogs. There's a little outhouse for storing bikes.
For days out, you can drive to the coast. Hornsea, Bridlington, and Scarborough are all within about an hour. The North York Moors are about the same. The North York Moors National Park website has walking routes. Beverley itself is good for walking around. The Minster is worth a visit.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi, and bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ in the courtyard.
