The Cart Shed
The Cart Shed is part of a farm conversion on our working arable farm here in Tickton. It's a family farm, not a show farm, so you'll see tractors and machines going about their business sometimes.
It sleeps eight, but in three bedrooms. That's because two of the rooms are quite big, with double and single beds in each. All bedrooms are on the ground floor and each has its own TV. The main living area is upstairs. The stairs are fine, just a typical farm building conversion staircase.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. You get two bathrooms, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's underfloor heating downstairs which keeps it cosy. We allow up to two dogs. There's an electric vehicle charger on site.
You can walk around the farm tracks. The River Hull is at the bottom of the lane if you fancy a stroll along the bank. It's very flat here, good for cycling if you bring bikes.
Beverley is about ten minutes away by car. It's a nice market town with the Minster, some shops, and the racecourse. The coast at Hornsea is about a 20-minute drive. York is roughly an hour away if you fancy a day out there.
There's a shared games room on site with a pool table and table tennis, which is handy if the weather turns.
