Fox Cottage is in Beverley. It's an old cottage, from the 1780s. It’s got that classic cottage feel, so the ceilings are low in places and the stairs are the traditional sort. They're quite steep.
It sleeps four people in two double bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a free-standing bath. The shower is an attachment over the taps. The living room has a wood burner, which is good for colder nights. The kitchen is galley style, so it's a bit narrow, but it has what you need. There's a washing machine.
Outside, there's a patio with some seating. It gets the sun.
You're right on Beverley Beck, which is a little canal. It's nice for a short walk. The town centre is a five-minute walk away. Beverley's nice, it's got the Minster and some good cafes and pubs. There are a couple of markets each week.
For days out, the coast at Hornsea is about a twenty-minute drive. It's a typical seaside town with a beach. The Yorkshire Wolds are right there for walking or cycling. York is under an hour away by car. If you like stately homes, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are within half an hour.
Practical stuff: the rating is 4 Star. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there. You can bring up to two dogs. There's bicycle storage. It says it's wheelchair accessible, but because it's an old cottage with steps and narrow doors, I'd suggest checking the details carefully if that's a concern.
