Beverley Minster House is in the town centre, right across the road from the Minster itself. It's a Georgian townhouse, so it's tall and thin and spread over three floors. The stairs are the original ones, so they're a bit steep and winding. You get used to it.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. Two of those have their own ensuite shower rooms, and there's a main bathroom too. It's got a 5 Star rating, which honestly just means it's well kept and has everything you need. It's comfortable, not a show home.
You're right in the middle of things. There's a good pub about a hundred yards away, one of the old ones. Shops, cafes, and the market are all a couple of minutes' walk. The Saturday market is the proper deal. The train station is about five minutes on foot if you fancy a day out without the car.
The house looks directly at the Minster. You hear the clock chime, which is nice, but you should know it does it through the night as well. The courtyard garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got kids or a dog, but we don't allow pets I'm afraid.
For things to do, you can just wander. Beverley itself is compact. The Minster is obviously the big one, but St Mary's Church is worth a look too. The Visit Beverley site has all the current events. The racecourse is on the edge of town if that's your thing.
If you drive, you've got options. The coast at Hornsea is about twenty minutes away. York is under an hour's drive west, and Hull is about fifteen minutes east. For walking, the Yorkshire Wolds are right on the doorstep. The National Trust and Yorkshire Wolds websites have good information on trails and places to visit.
In terms of what's there: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. We provide parking permits for the on-street parking outside, which is first-come-first-served but we've never had an issue.
