Regent Cottage Beverley

Regent Cottage is on a quiet side street in Beverley, literally a few minutes' walk from the town centre. It's an end-of-terrace house.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. Two are upstairs kingsize rooms, and there's a twin room downstairs. That downstairs one has zip-and-link beds, so you can make it a double if you prefer. There are two bathrooms: one downstairs with a bath and shower, and a shower room upstairs that's between the two bedrooms.

The place has been extended, so the back is all open-plan. There's a kitchen with an island, a dining table, and a seating area. Big bi-fold doors open out to the courtyard. It feels very light because of the doors and a roof lantern. It's modern throughout, with underfloor heating.

Outside is an enclosed courtyard with seating, a barbecue, and a hot tub. You can sometimes hear the bells from Beverley Minster, which is nice.

Beverley itself is a proper market town. Good independent shops, a market, and plenty of pubs and places to eat. The racecourse is at the edge of town. For a walk, you can go straight out onto the Westwood common, which is a big open space.

If you want to go further, the coast at Hornsea or Bridlington is about half an hour away. The historic city of York is under an hour's drive. The North York Moors National Park is also within an hour.

Facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car on the driveway. All bedding and towels are included. The property has a 4 Star rating. The entrance and that downstairs bedroom are wheelchair accessible.
