Cherry Blossom Cottage is in Cherry Burton. It's a two-bedroom end-of-terrace cottage, originally the village shop. It sleeps four.
The rating is 4 Star. It's been renovated. There's underfloor heating downstairs on the stone floor, which is nice when it's cold. Upstairs is carpeted.
The stairs are worth mentioning. They're the original cottage stairs. They go up in a straight line but they're steep and a bit narrow. Fine for most, but you need to watch your step.
There are two bedrooms. One has a double bed. The other has a kingsize bed that can be split into two singles if you ask beforehand. There's one shower room upstairs.
Downstairs, there's a living room with a wood burner. We provide the first basket of logs. The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher. There's a small boot room off the back for coats and boots. You can store bikes there.
The garden at the back is enclosed. It's got a patio with a table and chairs, and a barbecue. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The village has a shop a few doors down for basics. There's a pub directly opposite. They're dog-friendly and do food.
Beverley is less than ten minutes away by car. Good for shops, the Minster, and a few restaurants. The racecourse is there too. For the coast, Hornsea and Bridlington are about half an hour's drive. Hull is also half an hour away, if you want museums or The Deep aquarium.
The cottage is on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. Good for walking or cycling. The area around here is what David Hockney painted.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. WiFi is there, but it's a village connection so it's fine for browsing but not for streaming films on multiple devices.
