The Old Stables is on our farm in Tickton. It's a big place, sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, six bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy with a group.
It's converted from the old farm stables. You can see the original brickwork and beams inside. Up high on one wall there are some small stained-glass windows. They show a carthorse and foal. They're nice. The stairs are a standard sort.
It's got underfloor heating on the ground floor, so it's warm. The main bathroom has a free-standing roll-top bath. There's a games room, a dishwasher, washing machine, and parking. We've put in an electric vehicle charger too. You can bring two dogs.
You're on a working arable farm. You can walk around the farm tracks and down by the river. The roads round here are quiet, good for cycling if you bring bikes.
Beverley is about two and a half miles away. It's got the Minster, the racecourse, and decent shops. Hornsea and the coast are about ten miles east. York is good for a day out, but it's about an hour's drive. Hull is closer, maybe half an hour. The Deep aquarium there is worth a visit.
