The Poplars is a bungalow in Long Riston, which is inland from Hornsea. It's detached, so it's quiet. The garden is big and enclosed, mostly lawn, with open views over the fields. There's a hot tub on the patio.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom has an en-suite and doors straight out to the patio. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. Everything's on one floor, so stairs aren't an issue.
It's good if you've got outdoor gear. There's a boot room for coming in and out, and a boiler room you can use to dry coats and boots.
For a pub, the village one is about a mile's walk. Shops are a bit further, about two miles. The coast at Hornsea is a 15 minute drive. They've got a beach, a promenade, and the Mere for birdwatching and walking.
Hull is about 10 miles away. The Deep aquarium is there and is worth a visit. Beverley, Bridlington, and the Humber Bridge are all within half an hour. York is about an hour's drive.
You can start walks or cycles straight from the door. This is good walking country.
Facilities: it's got a wood burner, a dishwasher, wifi, and parking. There's an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets.
