The Warren is out at Fieldhouse Farm on the edge of Skirlaugh. It's a barn conversion, the biggest of three here. It looks out over fields. The garden and courtyard at the back are private.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom and one bathroom are downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms are accessed via a glass-sided staircase on a tall feature wall. It's got a 4 Star rating.
Inside, it's open plan and high-ceilinged. There's a lot of brick and painted steel beams. The kitchen area has modern appliances and a breakfast bar. The sofas face a wood burner. There are Smart TVs and some board games.
Skirlaugh village has a shop and a pub that does food. There are a few other pubs within a few miles.
You're about twenty minutes' drive from the coast. Hornsea, Withernsea, and Tunstall beaches are in that direction. Hull is about seven miles west. It has free museums, The Deep aquarium, and theatres.
The area is good for walking and cycling. The Yorkshire Wolds are on the doorstep. For birdwatching, RSPB Bempton Cliffs and Spurn Point National Nature Reserve are within half an hour. There are a couple of stately homes nearby, Burton Agnes Hall and Burton Constable Hall. Beverley Racecourse is about eight miles away.
The facilities list covers most things. It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, on-site parking, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
