The Warren

The Warren is a converted barn out in the fields on the edge of Skirlaugh. It's the biggest of three barns here. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one on the ground floor with a walk-in shower. There's a ground-floor bedroom too.

It's got a 4 Star rating. The space is open-plan, with high ceilings and big doors out to the back courtyard. The kitchen has what you'd need for a group. The stairs have a glass side, which is fine, just something to be aware of if you have small children.

The village has a shop and a pub that does food, both a short walk away. There are a few more pubs within a few miles.

It's about half an hour to the coast at Hornsea, Withernsea, or Tunstall. They're typical East Coast beaches. Good for a walk. For nature, Spurn Point is special, and RSPB Bempton Cliffs for the seabirds are a bit further, maybe 45 minutes.

Hull is easily reachable, maybe 20 minutes. It's got The Deep aquarium, museums, and that. The Yorkshire Wolds are right here for walks and cycling. There are stately homes like Burton Agnes Hall nearby. Beverley and York racecourses are within an hour.

For facilities: it's got a wood burner, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, enclosed garden with a BBQ, and parking on site. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedding and towels are included.
