The Hive
The Hive is in Skirlaugh. It's one of three barns converted on our farm. It's a single storey with a mezzanine bedroom above, so it's all open-plan downstairs.
It sleeps two. One bedroom with a double bed on the galleried bit, and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs up to the bedroom are quite steep, just so you know.
You get your own enclosed courtyard out the back with a table and chairs. There's a hot tub out there too, which is just for you.
The village shop is a five minute walk. There's a pub in the village that does food, and a few more within a short drive.
You're about twenty minutes from the coast. Hornsea and Mappleton beaches are closest. For a good walk, the Yorkshire Wolds are right on the doorstep. Beverley is about fifteen minutes away, and Hull is twenty. Hull has The Deep aquarium and some good museums.
It's on a working farm, so you'll see tractors and animals about. We allow one well-behaved dog.
Facilities: there's parking right outside, WiFi, a Smart TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
