This is Bluebell. It's one of our cottages here on the farm in Great Hatfield. The place sleeps four, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a Five Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.
The cottage is all on the ground floor. There's a wet room shower, with grab rails and a seat if you need it. It's wheelchair accessible too. The doors are wide, there are no steps at the entrance, and parking is right outside.
You get your own enclosed garden patio with a BBQ. Indoors, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and we include the bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are here if you need them.
We're on a small farm with about ten acres. The cottage looks out over fields. You're welcome to meet the animals we keep, like goats and pigs, ponies and donkeys. There's a dog walk around the grounds if you're bringing pets. We allow up to two.
The local pub, which does food, is a few minutes' walk away. The nearest shop is four miles.
Mappleton beach is very close, with sand and cliffs. Hornsea is about four miles up the coast. They have a lake called The Mere there for birdwatching and boats. The countryside around here is the Yorkshire Wolds. It's good for walking, cycling, and there's local fishing and horse riding too.
If you want to explore a bit, Beverley is about half an hour's drive. It's got the Minster and the racecourse. Hull is around forty minutes away. The Deep aquarium is there. For historic houses, you've got Burton Agnes Hall and Sewerby Hall, both within thirty minutes.
