The Roost
The Roost is a converted barn on Fieldhouse Farm, on the edge of Skirlaugh. It's one of three here. The views are over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on the ground floor, which is useful. The living area is open plan with a high ceiling and some old beams.
You get a private, enclosed courtyard out the back. There's a hot tub out there. The garden is yours to use.
The village shop and a pub are about a ten minute walk away. The pub does food. There are a few other pubs within a short drive.
Hull is about a twenty minute drive. It has museums, The Deep aquarium, and theatres. The coast is close. Withernsea, Tunstall, and Hornsea beaches are all within half an hour.
For walks, you're on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. The Spurn Point nature reserve and Bempton Cliffs are a drive away, good for birds. There's a golf course nearby.
Facilities: WiFi, Smart TV, bedding and towels included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Parking is right there. You can bring one dog.
