The Parlour
The Parlour is on a site called High Farm Holiday Park, between Hornsea and Beverley. It's one of five converted barns, set around a courtyard. You get your own patio bit with a table and chairs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a king size bed and a jacuzzi bath, the other is a twin with a shower. The stairs are normal, not too steep.
The place is clean and comfortable. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a proper kitchen with an oven and a dishwasher. The living room has a decent sized TV with Freeview. The wifi works.
On the site itself, there's a five acre fishing lake that's well-stocked. There's a small 9-hole par 3 golf course, a play area for kids, and some open fields. They've got a nature reserve walk too. You can get a coffee at the on-site cafe.
For other things, you'll need to drive. Hornsea is a traditional seaside town, about ten minutes away. Beverley is lovely, with a Minster and some nice shops and pubs, that's about fifteen minutes. The coast at Bridlington is roughly half an hour.
Further afield, you're within an hour of the Yorkshire Wolds and York. York's good for a full day out.
Facilities: everything's included. Bedding, towels, electricity. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Plenty of parking right outside. No pets.
