Snowdrop Cottage
Snowdrop Cottage is in Great Hatfield, which is in East Yorkshire, up near the coast. It's one of several cottages on a farm.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped. The cottage is all on one floor.
You're on a working farm with about ten acres. There are animals around. Goats, sheep, ponies, that sort of thing. Kids usually like it. There's a shared glass atrium area that some of the cottages, including this one, have access to. It's a covered indoor patio space.
There's a local pub 400 yards away but it's closed at the moment. There are others in the nearby villages, like New Ellerby and Withernwick. The nearest shop is about four miles away in Hornsea.
The coast is close. Mappleton Sands is a good sandy beach, it's about three miles. Hornsea is four miles away. It's a proper seaside town with a promenade. Hornsea Mere is there too if you fancy some birdwatching or hiring a rowing boat.
If you want to explore, Beverley is a nice historic town about a twenty minute drive. It's got the Minster and the racecourse. Further inland are the Yorkshire Wolds, which are good for walking. Burton Agnes Hall and Sewerby Hall are both within half an hour if you like stately homes. Hull is about forty minutes away, where you'll find The Deep aquarium.
For facilities: you've got your own patio and garden, parking right outside, a BBQ, and a washing machine. Wi-Fi and TV are there. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's a kids' play area and bicycle storage.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a designated dog walk on the farm grounds.
