The Granary is on our farm here in Aldbrough. It's a converted granary, so there are a lot of old beams. You can see the pond from the windows.
It's got two bedrooms and sleeps four. The odd thing is there are two bathrooms, one downstairs with a shower and one upstairs with a bath. I don't know why you'd need two for four people but there you go.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well looked after. Everything works. The living area is all open plan. You get the WiFi code when you arrive.
The village has a shop and a pub, both about half a mile walk down the lane. The pub does meals.
If you like birds, this is a good spot. We get a lot in the trees around the pond. RSPB Bempton Cliffs is about half an hour by car. Spurn Point is in that direction too. The nearest beach is at Mappleton, it's shingle. For a bigger town, Hull is 12 miles. They've got The Deep aquarium there.
Along the coast, Bridlington and Filey are both within a 30 minute drive. National Trust Yorkshire Coast has good information for walks.
On the practical side: parking is right outside. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, a BBQ you can use. The bedding and towels are included. We're a working farm, so you'll see tractors sometimes. No pets, sorry.
