The Granary
The Granary is near Aldbrough, on a farm. It’s a converted granary. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy.
It’s a 5 Star place, so it’s comfortable and everything works well. It feels open inside. There are a lot of old beams, you’ll see them. The grounds have trees and you can see the farm pond from the garden.
The local pub is about half a mile away. There’s a shop the same distance. They’re fine for basics.
The closest beach is Mappleton Sands, about a ten minute drive. It’s shingle. For birdwatching, Spurn Point and RSPB Bempton Cliffs are within half an hour. Hornsea Mere is good too.
Hull is about twelve miles away. It has The Deep aquarium and the Ferens art gallery if you need a wet weather day.
On facilities: you’ve got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. There’s bike storage if you bring them. No pets.
