Fitling Cottage Fitling

Fitling Cottage is in Fitling, near Hornsea. It's a converted barn in the grounds of our house. It's semi detached with Stables Cottage next door. You get your own bit of patio out the front.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The ceilings are vaulted with original beams.

The living room has a wood burner. There's a TV and WiFi. The kitchen has what you need, plus a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking right outside.

You can bring two dogs. The garden is shared with the other cottage, but it's a big space.

The local pub is about half a mile away. They do food. The nearest shop is in Aldbrough, about four miles. Mappleton Sands is the closest beach for a walk, about three miles away. It's good for dogs.

Hornsea is a short drive. It has a Freeport shopping centre and Hornsea Mere if you like birdwatching. Hull is about 12 miles away for a day out. The Deep aquarium is there. Burton Constable Hall is nearby if you like historic houses.

For walking, the Yorkshire Wolds are right on the doorstep. For coastal spots, Spurn Point is about a 40 minute drive. Bridlington and Beverley are both about a 30 minute drive away.
