This is Fitling Cottage. It's in Fitling, which is a small village in Holderness, about three miles from the coast.
It's a converted barn, semi-detached with another cottage called Stables Cottage next door. They're in the grounds of our house, but you've got your own space. The garden looks out over fields.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable but not grand.
Inside, there's a wood burning stove in the living room. The kitchen has what you need. The ceiling in the bedroom is quite high with beams. There's a TV and WiFi.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
There's a pub that does food about half a mile down the road. The nearest shop is in Sigglesthorne, about four miles away.
The coast is close. Mappleton Sands is about three miles, it's a good beach for dogs. Hornsea is a bit further, they've got a mere for birdwatching and a Freeport outlet village. For a bigger trip, The Deep aquarium in Hull is about half an hour's drive. The Yorkshire Wolds are inland for walking. You can get to Beverley or Bridlington in under an hour.
If you're booking for four people, you can also rent Stables Cottage next door.
