Hayloft
The Hayloft is in Great Hatfield, near Hornsea. It's on a farm with about ten acres of land. The cottage is for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well kitted out and comfortable.
You're in the countryside here. It's quiet. There's a patio and an enclosed garden that's just for you. The owners have farm animals - goats, sheep, ponies, that sort of thing - around the place.
Inside it's open plan. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. The bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
The coast is close. Mappleton Sands is a few minutes drive away. It's a sandy beach, good for a walk. Hornsea is about four miles. You've got the Mere there for birdwatching and boats. A bit further on, you have Beverley with the Minster and the racecourse. Hull is within half an hour for The Deep aquarium.
For stately homes, Burton Agnes Hall and Sewerby Hall are both within a reasonable drive. The Yorkshire Wolds are right there for walking. It's that rolling landscape David Hockney painted.
There's a local pub but it's closed at the moment. There are others in New Ellerby and Withernwick, a short drive away. The nearest shop is about four miles.
