Daffodil
This is Daffodil cottage, on our farm in Great Hatfield. It's part of a small group of cottages built in an old farmyard. You get your own patio, and there's a communal glass atrium you can use too, which is handy if it rains.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's warm, comfortable and well looked after. Everything works. The Wi-Fi is okay for browsing.
It's on a working farm, so you'll see animals around. We've got goats, sheep, ponies, and some chickens. You're welcome to say hello. There's a proper field for walking dogs, which is why we allow up to two.
The cottage is all on the ground floor, so no stairs. There's a washing machine, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
The local pub is about five minutes walk down the lane. They do food. The nearest shop is in Hornsea, about four miles away.
From here, Hornsea's beach and 'The Mere' are a short drive. Mappleton Sands is closer, good for a walk along the cliffs. Further afield, you've got Beverley with the Minster and the racecourse, and Hull with ‘The Deep’ aquarium. Burton Agnes Hall and Sewerby Hall are both within half an hour if you like big old houses.
