The Byre is in Brigham, near Driffield. It's a converted farm building from the 1700s. There are a few other cottages around a shared garden, about an acre of it. You get your own patio with a barbecue.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped. It's got underfloor heating and a wood burner for the colder months.
The place is set up for families. There's a children's farm on site where kids can feed the animals and collect eggs. There's a shared games room with a full-size snooker table and table tennis. Outside, there's a sand pit and pedal tractors for younger children. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
The Driffield Canal runs right by the property. There's a small jetty if you bring your own canoe. You can fish nearby.
For days out, you're about half an hour from the coast at Bridlington, Scarborough, or Filey. The Yorkshire Wolds are right here for walking. The city of York is less than an hour's drive away. Driffield, the local market town, is a few miles away for shops and pubs.
The facilities are all listed, but the main things are: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
