The Revie is a chalet in Wilsthorpe, near Bridlington. It's on the South Shore Holiday Village site. You're basically in a chalet park by the sea.
It's a semi-detached chalet that sleeps up to four, though it's probably best for a couple or a small family. Two bedrooms, one is a double and one has twin beds. There's one shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and everything works, but don't expect anything fancy.
You walk in through an enclosed decked area. Inside is all open plan: kitchen, dining area and sitting area together. There's a breakfast bar with stools, a TV, and the sofas. The decking gets the sun and is fully enclosed, which is handy.
You're about a two minute walk from South Shore Beach. It's a sandy beach and it's usually quiet. To get into Bridlington town centre, it's about a half hour walk along the promenade. There's also a land train that runs along the front if you don't want to walk.
On the holiday park next door, there's a place called Makis. It's a two minute walk. They do food and drink and have entertainment sometimes. There's also a shop there. The park has some green spaces where kids often play.
Bridlington has all the usual seaside things: fish and chips, pubs, amusement arcades, a promenade. Further along the coast is Flamborough, which is good for cliff walks and birdwatching. The Yorkshire Coast and Country website has good local information. For the wider area, North York Moors National Park is about an hour's drive.
In terms of what's here: Wi-Fi, on-site parking, bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed. The decking is enclosed. It says it's Christmas themed, which means we put up some basic decorations if you're staying over Christmas.
