Christine Cottage is in Flamborough, tucked in a quiet spot near the church. It's completely detached and set around a little courtyard. The owner lives nearby if you need anything.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom with either a shower or a bath. That's useful if you're a group of couples or a family sharing. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-finished.
There's a shop, a pub, and places to eat about five minutes walk away. The beach is walkable too, maybe fifteen or twenty minutes. You can't see the sea from the cottage, but you can hear it when it's rough.
Flamborough Head itself is right here. The cliffs are chalk, and they're covered in seabirds. For the best view of the puffins, you want the RSPB centre at Bempton Cliffs. It's a five minute drive. They've built platforms so you can look straight over the edge.
Bridlington harbour is about ten minutes in the car. It's a proper old-fashioned seaside resort with a sandy beach. Further along the coast, Filey is nice and a bit quieter. The North York Moors National Park is within half an hour if you fancy a change from the coast.
For the facilities: there's parking on the drive, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a woodburning stove. We can provide a cot and a highchair. The whole place is on one level, so there are no stairs to worry about. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
If you're a bigger group, we have another cottage next door called Freya Cottage. You can book them together.
