Swift Cottage
This is Swift Cottage in Sewerby. It's an end of terrace cottage, right next to Sewerby Hall and its grounds.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is fine, it's comfortable but not new. It's clean and warm. There's a small sitting-out area at the back.
Sewerby Hall is right there. It's a Georgian house with big gardens, a small zoo, a cafe, and picnic spots. You can get a land train from there along the cliff top into Bridlington. It's a short walk back up if you want. The main grassed area at Sewerby is busy with families when the weather's good.
Bridlington is the main town. It's a proper seaside place with a sandy beach, a harbour, and the usual attractions. There's a pub about 100 yards from the cottage.
If you head north up the coast, Bempton Cliffs are a must if you like birds. The RSPB runs it. You can see puffins and other seabirds on the cliffs. RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
Other places along the coast like Filey, Flamborough Head, Scarborough, and Whitby are all within a 30 minute drive or so. York is about an hour's drive if you fancy a city day.
Inside, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
