Lindengarth
Lindengarth is a big house just outside Bridlington, on the East Yorkshire coast. It's detached, so you've got your own space. The garden goes around it and there's a big gravelled drive for parking.
It sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. We've got a 5 Star rating, which means it's kept to a high standard. It's a grand, old-fashioned sort of house with high ceilings.
The living area is big enough for everyone to sit together. There's a long dining table. The kitchen has what you'll need, and there's a utility room with a washing machine and an extra shower.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a super king bed and its own shower room. There are two more doubles and a twin room that can be made into a double if you ask. There's also a family bathroom.
It's about a twenty minute walk to the North Beach, or a few minutes in the car. You can get fish and chips there, or walk along the sand. The local shop is a quarter of a mile away. There's a pub and restaurant about a mile down the road.
If you want to go out, Bridlington itself has the leisure centre with a pool. The Spa puts on shows. From the harbour, you can get boat trips for fishing or sightseeing.
For walks, Flamborough Head is close. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is famous for the seabirds. The National Trust looks after Sewerby Hall, which is nearby with gardens and a golf course.
You can drive to Scarborough or up into the North York Moors. York and Hull are both less than an hour away if you want a city day.
Things to know: we allow up to two dogs. We provide the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. We put up a stairgate. The WiFi works.
