Guillemot Cottage is in Buckton village, near Bempton. It's a converted barn, semi-detached, next to two others. It sleeps four, two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's a 4 Star property.
The main room is open plan with a wood burner. It's got high ceilings and beams. It's warm. The stairs are a little steep, but they're fine.
Outside you get a private patio. There's a big shared garden up behind the cottages with a summerhouse and some games. It's sheltered.
The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is about a twenty minute walk, or five minutes by car. That's where you see all the seabirds. You can walk along the cliffs to Flamborough from there. The local pub, The White Horse, is in Bempton village.
For beaches, Bridlington is about ten miles south, Filey a bit further. Scarborough is about half an hour's drive. They're traditional seaside towns.
Inland, you've got the Yorkshire Wolds for walking or cycling. There's a bike store here with cleaning stuff and basic tools if you need them. The owner cycles. Dalby Forest is about forty minutes north. York is an hour's drive for a day out.
Facilities: there's parking, an electric vehicle charger, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
