Blackbird Cottage is in Flamborough. It's down a dead-end lane, really quiet. You're looking out over fields at the back.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It used to be a farm building, so there are beams and stone walls. There's underfloor heating on the ground floor which keeps it warm.
The stairs are typical for this sort of place. They turn a corner and they're a bit steep.
The village is about a fifteen minute walk. There are a couple of pubs and shops. One pub does food and it's about 300 yards away.
The coast is the main thing here. It's about a mile to the headland. The cliff top walks are good. You can go down to North Landing or South Landing. You often see seals. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is a few minutes' drive for the seabirds.
Bridlington is about five miles for a bigger town and beach. Filey and Scarborough are within half an hour if you fancy that. There's also Sewerby Hall nearby with gardens and a museum.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars on the drive. You can bring up to two dogs.
