This is Blackbird Cottage. It's on the edge of Flamborough village, down a quiet lane. You get a decent view over the fields from the back.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place used to be a farm building, so there are some old beams and stone walls. There's underfloor heating on the ground floor, so it stays warm.
The stairs are normal, not particularly steep. The layout is open plan downstairs.
There's a pub about 300 yards up the road that does food. The village shop is a mile away. You can walk to the coast from here, about a mile or so down to Flamborough Head. The views from the cliffs are good. You can see seals sometimes.
The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is a few miles up the coast. It's good for seeing seabirds like puffins. RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
Bridlington is five miles south if you need a bigger supermarket or want the beach. Scarborough and Filey are within half an hour's drive.
For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
