Rockville Cottage

Rockville Cottage is in Buckton, East Yorkshire. It's part of some old farm buildings that are over 200 years old. We live next door. There's a big grass paddock out the front that you can use, and you might see owls or badgers.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a comfortable place, not huge. The walls are thick because it's old.

The local shop and a pub are about five minutes walk down the lane. The beach is two miles away. For a really good beach day, Bridlington is about a ten minute drive. They've got sand, a promenade, and an indoor swimming pool there.

If you like birds, the RSPB Bempton Cliffs reserve is very close, just over a mile. You can see the puffins in season. Flamborough Head is right there too.

Scarborough is about twenty minutes in the car if you want more shops, or a theatre show. For a big day out, the North York Moors National Park is under an hour away. Historic houses like Sledmere and Burton Agnes Hall are within half an hour.

Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking right outside.
