Dove Cottage is a conversion, part of an old farm at the end of a lane. It’s in Flamborough, which is about five miles north of Bridlington. It’s got three bedrooms and sleeps six. There’s one bathroom.
It’s a 4 Star place. It’s comfortable but not huge. The main living area is open plan. It has underfloor heating downstairs, so it stays warm. There are a lot of original features like beams and stonework.
You’ve got your own seating area outside with a barbecue. The parking is on site.
As for the location, you’re about a ten minute walk from things. The local pub and a restaurant are about 300 yards away. The village shops are a mile. It’s very quiet.
Flamborough Head is the main point here. The lighthouse and the cliff top walks are very good. You can walk down to North Landing or South Landing. You’ll see seals sometimes. The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is close, about two and a half miles. It’s famous for the seabirds, especially the puffins.
Bridlington is five miles south for a bigger town and beach. Filey is about eleven miles north. Scarborough is eighteen.
For facilities, it’s got what you’d expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
