Dove Cottage
Dove Cottage is in Flamborough, just outside the village proper. It's at the end of a lane, so it's quiet. You get some good views over the fields.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was a farm building originally, so there are some beams and stonework still there. Comes with underfloor heating on the ground floor, which keeps it nice in winter.
The stairs are standard cottage stairs. You've got your own bit of garden with furniture and a barbecue.
There's a pub that does food about five minutes walk away. The village shops are about a mile. You can walk down to the coast from here. South Landing beach is sand and chalk. North Landing is more dramatic, a rocky inlet. You'll often see the lifeboat out, and sometimes seals.
Flamborough Head and the lighthouse are the main thing here. The cliff top walks are good. The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is two and a half miles away, if you want to see puffins and things.
Bridlington is five miles for a bigger shop or a day at the beach. Filey and Scarborough are a short drive if you want a proper seaside town. Sewerby Hall is nearby if the weather turns.
As for what's here: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring two dogs. Parking is right there.
