Seagull Cottage
This is Seagull Cottage in Flamborough. It's a converted barn, so the ceilings are high with old beams. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The layout is good for a family or a couple of friends. It's comfortable, not fancy. You're not on top of each other.
The village is a five minute walk. There's a shop and a couple of pubs that do food. The beach is about the same distance. It's sandy and good for a proper walk.
The best thing is the headland. You can walk out to the cliffs from the cottage in about twenty minutes. The views are massive, right down the coast. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs reserve is right there too if you like watching seabirds.
Bridlington is three miles south. It's a classic seaside town with a long beach and things like a swimming pool. Filey is about fifteen minutes north by car.
Scarborough is a half hour drive. They've got two beaches, the castle, and a theatre. Whitby and the North York Moors are about an hour away if you fancy a day trip. North York Moors National Park has good information.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, sorry.
It's a solid base. You can be at the beach or on the cliffs very quickly.
