The Milking Parlour is in Buckton, near Flamborough. It's an old farm building we converted, next to our house. You get the whole place to yourselves. It's for two people.
It's one bedroom, one bathroom. Got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, everything works. The layout is open plan, so the living space, kitchen and bedroom are all in one big room. There's a shower room off to the side.
The stairs to the sleeping area are a ship's ladder. They're steep and narrow. You need to be okay with that.
You can bring one dog. There's a grassy paddock right outside the door for letting them out. We see owls and badgers around sometimes.
The local pub is about a five minute walk. It serves food. The shop is there too. The coast is close, about two miles to the beach at Bempton.
Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve is a ten minute drive. It's good for watching seabirds. RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
Bridlington is about ten minutes by car. Scarborough is twenty minutes. For a proper day out, the North York Moors National Park is under half an hour away.
It has parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio with a BBQ.
You can book it with the other cottages here if you're a bigger group.
