Poppy's Place is a detached bungalow on the north side of Bridlington. It's in a quiet residential street, but you're only about a ten-minute walk from the beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both with showers. One bedroom has an en-suite. Everything is on the ground floor, which is handy. There's a ramp at the front, so it's accessible if you need that.
The main thing is the living space. The kitchen and sitting area is all open plan, and there's a newer extension on the back with bi-fold doors. They open right up onto the patio and the enclosed garden. It gets the sun in the afternoon. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included.
The beach is the main draw, but Sewerby is just a fifteen-minute walk along the cliff top. Sewerby Hall has good gardens. For a longer walk, the coastal path towards Flamborough Head starts from there.
Bridlington itself has the harbour, two promenades, and the Spa theatre. The Old Town has a different feel, with older buildings and some antique shops.
For days out, you're well placed. Filey and Scarborough are along the coast. Bempton Cliffs, which is an RSPB reserve, is about a twenty-minute drive. For the North York Moors, you're looking at about forty-five minutes to an hour to get into the park.
