Beam Cottage
Beam Cottage is a bungalow in Flamborough. It's semi-detached. It's on one level inside, which is handy.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a king-size bed, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.
The sitting room has a big bay window so it's quite light. There's a TV with Freesat. The kitchen is modern and has everything you'd need, like a washing machine and a coffee machine. The dining room has French doors out to the garden.
The garden is private and enclosed. There's a patio and some lawn, and it gets the afternoon sun. You can see the lighthouse beam at night from out there.
Flamborough itself is a cliff-top village. You can walk to the shops and a couple of pubs in a few minutes. The fish and chip shop is good. The coastline here is dramatic, with big cliffs and little coves. It's very popular with birdwatchers. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is nearby.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got Bridlington, Filey, and Scarborough. Burton Agnes Hall and Sewerby Hall are close if you like historic houses. The Yorkshire Wolds are right behind for driving through. York is under an hour away if you fancy a day trip.
