Beam Cottage
Beam Cottage is in Flamborough, up on the cliff. It’s a bungalow, semi-detached. Sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating.
The view from the front is good. You look out over fields. The garden is at the back, it's enclosed and gets the afternoon sun. There are a couple of reclining chairs out there. In the evening, you can see the beam from the lighthouse sweeping round.
Inside, it’s all on one level. The sitting room has a bay window. The kitchen has a coffee machine and a slow cooker if you want to use them. The dining room has french doors to the garden. The bedroom has a king-size bed.
You can walk into the village centre in a few minutes. There’s a shop, a couple of pubs, and a well-regarded fish and chip shop. The coastal path is right there. The cliffs are spectacular for walking. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is close by for birdwatching.
Bridlington is about ten minutes’ drive. Scarborough and Filey are within half an hour. For a day out, Burton Agnes Hall or Sewerby Hall are nearby. The Yorkshire Wolds are inland for driving through. York is under an hour away.
Facilities: there’s a washing machine, WiFi, parking on site, and bedding and towels are included. No pets.
