Sir Nigel Gresley
So this place, the Sir Nigel Gresley, it's in Flamborough. It's basically the old train station building. The trains were rerouted before it ever opened, so it's been done up into flats. This one's on the second floor.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. That's handy. One bedroom has its own shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The living area is open plan, kitchen and sitting room together. The kitchen has what you need. You get a view out over the village from up there. The walls inside are exposed brick in places, which gives it a bit of character.
Flamborough itself is nice. It's about a twenty-five minute walk from the flat down to the headland and the bay. You can see the lighthouse. There are good cliff walks from there. The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is along the coast if you like seabirds.
Bridlington is about three miles away for a bigger town and the beach. Scarborough and Whitby are both within about half an hour's drive if you fancy a day out. The North York Moors aren't far either.
Facilities: you've got Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. Parking is on-street nearby. No pets.
