This place is called Sir Nigel Gresley. It's in Flamborough village centre, on the second floor of the old train station building. The train line was rerouted before it opened, so it never actually saw any passengers.
It sleeps four in two double bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, one an en-suite shower, the other is a family bathroom with a bath and shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's been done up to a good standard. The living area is open plan, with the kitchen and a dining table for two. The sofas can fit everyone.
Being on the second floor means you get a view over the street. You can sit and watch the village go about its day. The walls inside are partly exposed stone, which gives it some character.
A 25 minute walk from the door gets you to the headland. You can see right down to the bay. The cliff top walks are spectacular. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is nearby, famous for seabirds like gannets and puffins.
Bridlington is about 3 miles away for a traditional seaside day. Scarborough is a bit further for its beaches and castle. Whitby and the North York Moors are within a 30 minute drive for a longer day out.
For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, wifi, and all bedding and towels are included. The utilities are covered. No pets.
