Lobster Cottage

Lobster Cottage is in Flamborough. It's a terraced cottage, three floors high. It's on a quiet row, but you're only fifty yards from the local shop and pub.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's not posh, but it's got proper character. The ground floor has a slate floor and exposed beams. There's a Victorian cast iron bed in one room. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're steep and narrow. Watch your head on the beams if you're tall.

You get the garden to yourselves. It's enclosed.

The coast is a short walk away. You can walk to the lighthouse. For serious birdwatching, the RSPB Bempton Cliffs reserve is about three miles up the coast. It's famous for the puffins.

Filey is about seven miles south. It's got a good beach and a nice promenade. Bridlington is closer, about four miles. Scarborough is about fourteen miles north. All the main coast road attractions are within half an hour's drive. There's a golf course nearby.

Inside, there's a woodburner for colder days. We provide bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. We have a cot and a stairgate if you're bringing a baby. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

For planning wider days out, the Yorkshire Dales National Park is about an hour inland, and the North York Moors National Park is up the coast.
