Woodlands is in Sewerby. It's a detached lodge on the edge of the Bridlington Links Golf Course site. Because it's in the corner, it feels more private than some of the others.
It sleeps up to four, but it's best for a couple or two adults with children. There's a double bedroom and a second room with bunk beds. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You can park two cars right outside.
The site has a clubhouse that does meals, and a big terrace. You can pay to use the 18-hole golf course, the driving range, and the gym. There are other lodges around, so you can be sociable if you want, or just keep to yourselves.
The village is a short walk. There's a pub that does food and a fish and chip shop. You can walk along the cliff path from Sewerby down into Bridlington, or get the land train in summer.
The back of the lodge faces Sewerby Hall. It's a Georgian house with nice gardens and events on. Sewerby Hall is worth a look. Other big houses like Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall are a short drive away.
Bridlington itself is about a mile. It's a traditional seaside town with a big sandy beach. Plenty of places to eat and drink. York and Hull are both less than an hour's drive if you fancy a day in a city.
Facilities: there's a TV, WiFi, an enclosed patio area with garden furniture, and all bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
