The Harbour Master's House
The Harbour Master's House is in Bridlington, right on the harbour. It's a big flat over three floors, so there are a fair few stairs. It sleeps ten people.
Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's a practical sort of place. It's spacious, and some rooms look out over the sea. The living room looks right onto the harbour.
Bridlington's still a working harbour, so you'll see the fishing boats coming and going early. The town centre, with shops and places to eat, is a couple of minutes' walk. The Spa Theatre is close by, and they have shows on all year. The beach is wide and sandy, about 200 yards away.
There's a good walk along the cliffs from the seafront to Sewerby. You can get the land train if you'd rather not walk. Sewerby Hall is up there, with gardens and a small zoo. It's worth a look. The Sewerby Hall website has all the details.
Filey and Scarborough are a short drive south. Flamborough Head is to the north. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is about ten minutes away by car. You can see puffins there in season.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets, sorry.
