The Gallery is a log cabin on the Bridlington Links Golf Course, near Sewerby. It's in a quiet bit of woodland.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's all on one floor, which some people prefer. The deck outside is a good size. You can take one dog.
You're basically in the grounds of Sewerby Hall. You can walk straight into it from the cabin. The hall and gardens are run by the council and you have to pay to go in, but it's nice for a walk. They've got a small zoo and a playground. The National Trust looks after the land around it, so there's good walking.
The beach is a short walk down the cliff path. Danes Dyke is a bit further along the coast, it's a wooded valley that leads to a beach. For birds, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is about a ten minute drive. You can see the puffins in season.
There's a pub, The Ship Inn, a five minute walk away. They do food. You can get a land train from there into Bridlington town centre if you don't want to drive. Bridlington is a classic seaside town with a sandy beach.
If you play golf, you're on the course. Guests get a discount on fees. The clubhouse is open to everyone staying and does food.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV with Netflix, a dishwasher, washing machine, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one.
Other places within half an hour include Flamborough Head and the lighthouse, and Burton Agnes Hall. Visit Yorkshire has more ideas for the area.
